Third Grade
My name is Julie Gesteland and I have taught in the
Burlington Area School District for seventeen
years. I received my undergraduate degree from UW
Lacrosse and a master's degree from Aurora
University. Over the years , I taught 8th grade
science, TSID, and currently am teaching third
grade. I love teaching and find third grade to be a
very exciting adventure each day. I am so excited
because I looped with my class to third grade.
Outside of school, I have a husband named Tim who is a Biology teacher and three children:Joey age 13, Zach age 11, and Annie age 9. We also have a black lab named Maggie. Needless to say, they keep me busy at home. When I do have free time , I enjoy spending it with my family and friends, golfing, reading, baking and taking long walks.
